January's Friday Family Night:  Friday Family Night will be on the last Friday of every month, sans November & December.  We will be meeting at different places to catch up with each other and have a good time.  Make sure you set aside some time on those evenings and I will let you know where we will meet.  This month, we will meet on Friday, January 31st at Area 51.  Our task will be to gather ideas on where else we can meet though out the year.  We need to keep in mind that we probably don't want to meet on Finbar's patio during arctic climates and freeze our patooties off.  Although, we have been experiencing 85 degree weather in January here in Southern California.  I pulled out all my sweaters and now I'm digging for my tank tops again!  What the... ???

Guest Book:  One person was kind enough to give me an update on the Lair Guest Book.  Thanks, Mr. Porter!  It was great to hear from you.  I expect the rest of you to follow suit.  It's a moral imperative.  

Great Line:  Anne Hoover heard a great line from a teeny-bopper film trailer and I wanted to share it with the rest of you.  It definitely put a smile on our faces:  "Why are you trying so hard to fit in when it's obvious you were made to stand out?"  It's much easier to dance to the beat of your own drum, so just go with it!
