Pique's Update - May 22, 2001                                                                                               

On-Line Chat:  A few of my friends helped me test out the two chat buttons that I have added below.  The first one:  "HumanClick" is very interesting.  It allows people to click and chat with me live when I am logged on.  Very cool except I'm on-line mostly at work, so I don't have a lot of time to chat then.  Especially when most of the time is spent trying to figure out who you're online with.  It also notifies me when someone surfs into the website.  It's a good tool for another project we're working on here at AES so it may still be beneficial.  However, I am taking it off the website because it's too interactive.  

The other one is the BraveNet Chat Room.  This one is more to what I was looking for.  I only wish you could see who's in there before you click the button and sign in.  Since people log on to this site intermittently, I suggest we have Virtual Friday Family Nights.  We'll call them Cyber Shindigs and all you have to do is log on to the website chat room on Friday nights at 10:00am (after the kiddies are asleep).  I'll keep you posted on when these Cyber Shindigs are going to begin, but you guys can use the chat room anytime you like!

Starry Night:  Dennis Stone is working the door at the Gypsy Lounge in Lake Forest for fun on the weekends.  Last weekend, a band called "Jaded" played there.  None other than Tina Yothers (Jennifer Keaton from Family Ties) is in this band.  Christine and Dennis not only saw her, but Britney Spears' assistant came with a member of the band "Korn" and none other than Dennis Rodman showed up with his entourage.  I'm sure she will have pictures posted up on her website:  http://romancingthestone.tripod.com.

Renee's Wedding:  Ah, the day is quickly approaching.  June 2nd marks the joyful event.  Tracy already sent out the family agenda and we're all prepared and ready for action.  Family members are flying in from Iowa and New Mexico to join Renee' and Mike to celebrate their union.

Not So Charmed:  Shannon Doherty is leaving the triage of "Charmed".  Can't she get along with anybody?  It's not Alyssa's fault, no way.

Eye Ouch:  Laura was diagnosed with her first eye infection Monday.  If you've never seen an eye infection, it is the goriest thing on the planet when seen on a three-year-old.  You're looking at the cutest face with this yellow puss coming out of her eye.  Oh, and administering the eye drops could prompt the neighbors to call the police.

Michael W. Bickley:    Well, here's the latest.  Approximately 4.5 liters of fluid was drained from Mike's abdomen Monday making this a total of 12.5 liters to date.  Mike says he will be released from the hospital on Friday.  He's filling back up with liquid as we speak.  I'll believe it when I see it.
